Registration
Arkansas Code 27-20-202 requires owners of three-, four- and six-wheeled ATVs not otherwise registered to register them with the Department of Finance and Administration within 30 days of acquiring them. The CPSC's copy of the statutes also states that no renewal is required.
Public roads
Arkansas Code 27-21-106 makes it unlawful to operate an ATV on a public street or highway except under listed conditions. A 2025 act (Act 922) covers utility task vehicles on roads that local governments authorize, with equipment requirements.
Wildlife management areas
Game and Fish Code 20.19 restricts ATVs and UTVs on WMAs to specific listed areas and conditions.
