What the official page says

  • The Forest Service describes an almost 45-mile system in segments reached by county and Forest Service roads.
  • Trails cannot be reached from the campground without riding on roads, so unlicensed machines are trailered unless you hold a county permit.
  • Several bridges cross streams on the trail.

Before you go

  • Check weather and recent rain: creeks and wet-weather closures are the big Ozark variables. See seasons and weather.
  • Pack recovery basics and know how to use them. See recovery gear.
  • Know your state's machine registration and road rules. See state laws.
